Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the automotive industry
Minimum Grade 12 required
Proof of Qualification as Technician advantageous (Trade Test/ Red Seal)
Unendorsed Drivers Licence
Computer Literate
Successful demonstration of competency
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of automotive repair processes and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Assurance:
Inspect vehicles undergoing repairs and maintenance to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Test drive vehicles after repair/service. Conduct daily flash testing. Ensures adherence with quality gates.
Process Monitoring:
Monitor repair workflow processes to identify any deviations from established procedures and guidelines.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken. Ensure that warranty procedures meet production requirements.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with workshop supervisors and technicians to address quality issues promptly and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Update management of concluded processes. Acts as backup for the Service Advisor when required.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with customers to explain quality control processes and address any concerns regarding vehicle repairs. Concludes general aftersales administration and processing.

Assist in training new technicians on quality standards and procedures.
