Poultry and Poultry health and production experience.
Ruminant Rural Veterinary experience will be an advantage.
Strong Computer literacy skills on MS Office (Intermediate level). Specifically, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
Fluent in English
Valid drivers license and own motor vehicle required.
Ability to operate independently as well as part of a team.
Being a good team player is essential.
Willing to travel long distances within South Africa and neighbouring countries.

Main Activities:
Implementation of the Global Protection Services locally
Perform field surveys in support of company`s vaccines.
Technical product support to the Company team and customers
Client education and training on Company Products and aspects of poultry & ruminant production & health
Company Global Protection Service database management
Client feedback regarding survey and monitoring results in the form of PowerPoint Presentations.
Assisting clients, private- and in-house veterinarians with various troubleshooting and disease surveillance within the SADC region
Conducting scientific and commercial trials to demonstrate the value of Company products. Analysing serological and performance data and establishing trends for specific farms
Key Opinion Leader management
Liaise with Zone and Global veterinary services personnel concerning problems and Opportunities
Ensuring product leadership: Implement the local customer plan based on the Local strategy and Corporate guidelines.Act as first point of contact on the field, implementing effective market support, follow-up the product deployments and generating evidence on product successes.Review and update, the Local Customer Plan for every Customer during monthly meetings with the local teams and managers.Collaborate on the creation of technical articles. * Managing Customer needs, relationships & Market Penetration: Maintain positive relationships with customers via regular visits, events or calls.Collaborate with all local teams to ensure execution of the Local Customer plan. * Providing Customer Guidance & Advice: In case of customer''s troubleshooting, demonstrate responsiveness by scheduling visits immediately and taking the actions necessary to resolve the reported issues.Conduct regular Customer visits and provide professional consultations, communicate with Customers on a weekly/monthly basis (depending on monitored results), and plan reviews on a yearly basis for more detailed results analyses/feedback.Provide technical and scientific advice to Customers and Sales personnel. * Ensure Training, education & knowledge management: Attend regular Corporate-led training, congresses, seminars and events in his/her professional areas of expertise.Self-train on new technical updates, in order to maintain high level of expertise, and share that knowledge with the team.Develop training on technical activities with the aim to share knowledge with customers.Train local Veterinary Services teams to support them with their customers. * Collecting & reporting on customers feedback: Ensure valuable monitoring of the products by receiving, collecting and analysing samples from the customers.Share the collected information with the customer and stock the information in the tools for later projects.Ensures the quality of data collected.Give continuous feedback to the Veterinary Services Manager on achievements, problems and/or recent customers updates.Communicate activity protocols and trial results to colleagues.
Scientific expertise management and network: Maintain network with Animal Health institutes, labs, universities, KOLs, suppliers of equipment etc., to stay abreast of new technologies.
Deliver diagnosis and expert support, as needed.
