Job Description


Minimum requirements:

  • Certification in VIP/Close Protection.
  • Certification in first aid, CPR, and other relevant emergency medical procedures is preferred.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • PSIRA registered, Grade B.
  • Firearm license with sound knowledge of policies and procedures and business purpose.
  • At least 3 years experience in executive protection, law enforcement, the military, or a related field preferred.
Added Advantage:
  • Strong physical fitness and self-defense skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide university executives with close protection.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop security plans for high-profile events, meetings, and travel arrangements involving VIPs.
  • Monitor and assess potential threats and security vulnerabilities, utilizing surveillance techniques and security protocols.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, security breaches, and other critical incidents involving VIPs.
  • Maintain clear and constant communication with university administration, security personnel, and relevant stakeholders to coordinate security efforts.
