:Vivo Energy distributes and markets Shell and Engen branded fuels and lubricants to retail and commercial customers in Africa. We are looking for an individual to fill the role of VRPT Project Manager reporting to the Head of Sales Excellence. This role is virtually based, operating in any of our OUs.Job Purpose:Project Manage enhancements to the performance tools and systems required by the Sales teams, ensuring all support tickets are closed effectively, driving effectiveness of our sales teams, retailers and quality Marshalls across the 27 OUs.Principal Accountabilities:1. Manage the scope of new enhancements, determine priorities and project manage deliverables.

• Work with BRMs to agree on budgets, priorities and timelines

• Manage VRPT or internal developers to ensure delivery of enhancements against timelines

• Provide updates to Sales teams changes and enhancement

2. Provide 1st line support to OSMs and escalate tickets to supplier. Identify and resolve issue with clear guidelines to OSMs

• Escalate support tickets when we require developers to address issues

• Daily meetings with support team to follow up and ensure all 2nd level support issues are resolved and update stakeholders

3. Proactively identify performance data issues

• Monitor all VRPT interfaces and ensure minimal down time.

• Monitor automation interfaces and ensure data is reflecting in VRPT.

• Work with Automation team to resolve support issues

• Provide data integrity checks and ensure OSMs are aware of data abnormalities

Key Challenges:

• This role requires an in depth understanding of the Retail Business and the role of the TM.
• They need to understand the current sales excellence processes in place and identify potential gaps where we can add value
• They will need to be a SME on the VRPT and associated tools and performance reports with attention to detail.
• Working virtually to support and engage the OUs in the adoption of new Sales Excellence tools and processes
• Travel to countries will be required on occasion but the major support will be handled virtually
• Ensuring VRPT is fully utiilised across the Retail business and that we extract full value form proactive performance data, reporting and notifications

Requirements:Job Knowledge Skills

• The incumbent needs to have Retail Sales and Operations experience in the field, with clear practical insight into challenges and opportunities.
• Strong project management skills are a pre-requisite as they will be working with external suppliers and local sales teams to implement the sales excellence foundation
• Engagement and Communication skills: requires working with virtual teams and getting buy-in into the Sales Excellence activities, including ability to communicate fluently in both French and English
• Performance mindset: Ability to implement solutions that will drive sales teams to be more effective
• Work Ethic: Has a strong work ethic and capacity to work extended hours to achieve results
