Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Wages Administrator to join their dynamic team in Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth.:Weekly Payroll:

  • Download weekly time sheets from time and attendance system
  • Correct anomalies on time sheets (irregular clockings, manual clockings, absence)
  • Verify overtime against authorised versus unauthorised
  • Update deduction requirements (loans, garnishees etc.)
  • Input finalised clockings payroll system & issue third party clocking to relevant personnel (TES, independent services)
  • Finalise payroll run and print payslips
  • Facilitate issuing of payslips to employees
  • Weekly reports printed and issued to relevant departmental managers
Query Resolution:
  • Provide support and clarity on pay related queries
  • Correct errors based on queries raised and amend payroll accordingly
  • Provide information as requested on queries in relation to medical aid, provident fund and any other third party relevant to payroll
  • Support internal queries and requests for information relating to payroll and time and attendance
Masterfile Data:
  • Capture and maintain annual tax tables
  • Capture, maintain and submit medical aid contribution schedules
  • Facilitate and implement annual increase in line with bargaining council main agreement
  • Capture, maintain and submit provident fund contribution schedules
Time & Attendance:
  • Master user for time & attendance system
  • Maintain and update employees on the time and attendance system
  • Ensure sick leave & all other leave captured on Time & Attendance system
  • Prepares a variety of reports for team leaders and managers when required
  • Assist Wage administrator with Labour Brokers administration
General Administration & Support:
  • Support HR Generalist in drawing and finalising employee termination documents (UIF, provident withdrawals, retirement claims)
  • Ensure proper filing and administration of payroll documentation and that all administration is up to date
  • Attend to confirmation of employment requests
  • Support and assist HR Manager in requisite tasks
  • Assisting and contributing to strategic development of the HR Department
Job Requirements:
  • Ndip HR
  • 5 years experience conducting payroll independently in an organisation
  • 2 years Time & Attendance system experience
  • Expert VIP Knowledge
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • HR System
  • Understanding of Labour Relations Act and implications on non-compliance
