Job Summary Waiter/Waitress Location: Melville Compensation: Commission and Tips (for the first 3 months), with the possibility of transitioning to a salary-based compensation depending on performance and knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This position offers a commission and tips structure for the first three months, with the opportunity to transition to a salary-based compensation based on performance and knowledge. Responsibilities: 1. Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. 2. Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. 3. Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers. 4. Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals. 5. Serve food and beverages to guests, refilling drinks as needed. 6. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or issues promptly. 7. Process payments and issue receipts accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests. 8.
