2. Order Taking & Serving:
Accurately take food and drink orders from customers.
Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
Serve food and beverages promptly and in a professional manner.
3. Table Management & Cleanliness:
Set up tables, ensuring proper arrangement of cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
4. Handling Payments & Transactions:
Present bills to customers and process payments (cash, card, or digital payments).
Provide change and receipts as necessary.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when needed.
5. Teamwork & Coordination:
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other waiters to ensure smooth service.
Assist in restocking supplies, such as napkins, cutlery, and condiments.
Follow health and safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
Qualifications & Experience:Education: Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.Experience: Previous experience as a waitress or in the hospitality industry is an advantage but not always required.Additional Skills: Basic knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems and food safety regulations is beneficial.
