Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo ensure smooth sales operations and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, KwaZulu-Natal.QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Warehouse Management, Distribution, or Logistics (NQF 6).
Minimum 5 years' experience in Warehousing or Distribution/Logistics Management within a manufacturing environment.ExperienceESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Operational Efficiency: Achieve and maintain high levels of operational efficiency in warehouse management and distribution.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Order Fulfilment: Manage the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular operational reports.
- Cost Management: Contribute to budget preparation and control operational costs.
- Scrap Battery Management: Oversee scrap product collection and processing.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring a productive and motivated team.
