Warehouse Controller Benoni
The salary we are offering monthly is R14 000.00 Basic and R6 000.00 Discretionary Performance Bonus (no benefits)
National company seeks a Warehouse Controller for our depot in Benoni. The Warehouse Controller is responsible to manage and ensure proper recording of all stock purchased, received, and distributed in the Inland Region (record and track). Required to maintain organization of warehouse, with strong attention to detail to execute tracking and recording.Summary of job tasks included but not limited to:

• Overseeing of stores staff, including drivers.
• Maintaining of all stock and spill kit levels.
• Ensuring quality checks are done on completed kits.
• Ensuring all sales orders are dispatched and invoiced out correctly.
• Ensuring customers are helped timeously and assisting with customer queries.
• Ensuring all stock is captured correctly on Evo and is costed for.
• Stock takes, accounting for stock and recounts.
• All stock takes for Inland are submitted before deadline.
• Ensuring all surrounding depots stock variances 0%.
• Ensuring JHB depot stock variances are 0%.
• Overseeing and ensuring all vehicles and trailers are response ready.
• Ensuring that all site related stock requests are left in the cages the night before.
• Overseeing laundry.
• Ensuring that PPE packs are always readily available.
• Overseeing warehouse.
• Ensuring PPE is supplied and issued within 5 working days of the request.
• Make sure all store groups are sorted out and closed timeously.
• Ensure that all ISO standards are always adhered to by all warehouse staff.
• Being a team player and having a good attitude with colleagues and management.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 3 to 4 years experience in warehousing and stock control role, in a computerized environment.
• Microsoft Office: Excel and Word
• Sage experience advantageous
• Supervision of drivers and warehouse staff
• Senior certificate / Grade 12
• References from your previous employer.
