Our Client in the Montague Gardens area, are seeking the skills of Export Warehouse Supervisors to start, immediately.Please do note, that these positions are only open to South African citizens. • Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of Warehouse.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.
• Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities.
• Developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.
• Assist in the training of any counterparts in warehouse management best practice.
• Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to programming/contingency commodities arrivals.

Manage expenditure by manage Debtors Book, increase profitability.

• Maintain cost effective resource allocation daily.
• No damages to freight.
• No loss to Cargo.
• Maintain consumables to ensure workflow.

Customer retention adherence to customer SLAs.

• All Internal queries must be responded to within 48 hours.
• Assist in reporting queries.
• Total adherence to Client SOP/SLA's.
• Ensure submission of out turn reports both IDM and direct.
• Assist with daily tracking.

Operational Excellence technology continuous Improvement.

• Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Adherence to OHS rules and regulations.
• Ensure Import and Export SOH are correct.
• Ensure total compliancy of health check.

• Supply chain or logistics national cartificate or degree.
• 5 year wrking experience within a warehouse environment.
• 2 years general financial experience.
• General Puschasing Procedures.
• Basic Seafreight/ Airfreight and Bond store knowledge
• Exel/Word and Outlook.
• Scorpio or similar management experience.
• Experience in Freight/ or transport Industry.
• Thorough understanding of Import and Export Procedures.
• In dept knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
• First Aid requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer operations.
• Commercial arithemetic calculations.
• Ability to prepare own correspondence.
