This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and regulations. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, extensive experience in warehouse management, and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer service.Requirements:xc2xb7 Minimum Grade 12 National Certificatexc2xb7 Minimum 3-year tertiary diploma or degree in: Logistics Management; Supply Chain Management; Operations Management; Business Administration with a focus on logistics or operations; Industrial Engineering or similar relevant qualification.xc2xb7 5-10 years of warehouse working experience in the FMCG/Wholesale industry, with at least 5 years at a management level.xc2xb7 Working knowledge of inventory management ERP software, with Kerridge knowledge and experience being advantageous.xc2xb7 Must be fluent in both English & Afrikaans in reading, writing and speaking.xc2xb7 Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate employees.xc2xb7 Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.xc2xb7 Above-average proficiency in MS Office applications.xc2xb7 Ability to work under pressure, and according to tight deadlines.xc2xb7 Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.xc2xb7 Excellent timekeeping, work ethic, and attendance record.xc2xb7 Willingness to work extended trading times, weekends, and public holidays.xc2xb7 Own reliable carKey Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Monitor and oversee the receiving and dispatching processes to ensure timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing stock.xc2xb7 Plan and oversee the process of picking and packing of stock, ensuring accuracy and sufficient space for storage.xc2xb7 Facilitate the process of cycle counting of stock using Kerridge software to maintain accurate inventory records.xc2xb7 Manage bi-annual stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.xc2xb7 Ensure all breakages are processed and disposed of according to established procedures.xc2xb7 Manage day-to-day administration and management of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.xc2xb7 Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including fire safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), stacking procedures, and general safety in the warehouse and yard.xc2xb7 Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the warehouse.xc2xb7 Address and resolve customer complaints related to warehouse operations.xc2xb7 Maintain the highest level of customer service by ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.xc2xb7 Manage costs and usage of warehouse consumables to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.Suitable applicants must demonstrate the following knowledge and abilitiesxc2xb7 Warehousing and stock control methods and proceduresxc2xb7 Health and safety regulations.xc2xb7 Ability to learn and adapt quicklyxc2xb7 Able to work in a pressurized environmentxc2xb7 Attention to detail
