Warehouse Manager | Cape Town | Tiling and building industryWe are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to oversee our client's warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient warehouse processes. • Inventory Management - Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and implement inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency
• Logistics Coordination - Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, liaise with suppliers and carriers, and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
• Team Leadership - Supervise warehouse staff, provide training, and foster a positive work environment to maximize team productivity and morale
• Liaise with agencies to arrange temp drivers
• Safety Compliance - Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and implement safety training programs to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel
• Process Improvement - Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and streamline warehouse operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Quality Assurance - Maintain product quality standards, conduct quality inspections, and address any issues related to product damage or defects
• Reporting - Generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving, and operational performance metrics

Minimum requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Kerridge warehouse management software and MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
