Job Description
Job Summary Dip Warehousing; Pest Control; CompLit; 4-5 years of exp as Warehouse Manager of (dry) foods, including budgeting/cost mngt/planning/mngt of safety & inventory/building a strong team/conscious of brand/customer service/ethics/driving continuous improvement/quality/pest control. Ensure actual stock each category does not exceed budgeted amounts/weekly stock audits/stock correctly/neatly stacked to avoid damages/rejected products removed from warehouse within 24 hours/ decision made on on hold products within 24 hous/returned products weighed/managed according to returns protocol & traceability maintained/returned pallets cleaned. Do daily inspections/monthly site walks/annual intensive deep cleaning/ ensure Forklift Drivers recruited are properly qualified/existing Drivers retain licenses/ Warehouse maintenance managed/ must be dust/air/ spillage/water leak free at all times/no fire risk/Food Safety as per FSSC 22 000/allergen mngt/zero tolerance to pest control implemented/corrective action taken immediately. Liaise team members at daily production meeting/ensure sufficient stock to fulfill daily order demand/stock picked/loaded correctly/FIFO practiced when loading orders/ turnaround of trucks within agreed targets/e-mail slow moving lines older than 4 weeks to Sales & Demand Planning for action.
