Warehouse Manager
Diep River, Cape Town
Salary: R25 000 basic negotiableOur client has been a leader in the renewable energy sector for over a decade, providing sustainable energy solutions across residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors. They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the entire warehouse operation, ensuring efficient stock management, cost control, and streamlined logistics.This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to balance inventory demands with project timelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining optimal stock levels while ensuring seamless project execution.Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 07h30 - 17h30Minimum Requirements:

• Matriculation and tertiary studies in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• 5+ years' experience as a Warehouse or Logistics Manager with electrical component / technical knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), Word, and Outlook
• Strong knowledge of stock management processes, logistics coordination, and procurement
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
• Forklift license (advantageous)
• Medically fit with the ability to handle physical tasks, including working at heights

Key Responsibilities:Stock & Cost Management

• Oversee the accurate receipt, handling, and dispatch of stock
• Manage stock replenishment and ensure optimal stock availability
• Track and control inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock
• Implement stock control systems and optimize warehouse storage and space utilization
• Conduct monthly stock takes and assist with audits

Procurement & Inventory Control

• Liaise with internal teams to manage purchase orders and ensure timely stock delivery
• Ensure stock received matches order specifications and supplier commitments

Warehouse Operations & Logistics

• Maintain overall warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Enforce Health & Safety compliance within the warehouse environment
• Ensure smooth integration of stock receipt, storage, and distribution for projects

Team & Fleet Management

• Lead and manage a small team of warehouse staff
• Ensure proper tracking and oversight of fleet operations
