Warehouse Manager: Inbound - South AfricaREQUIREMENTSGrade 12 and/ or equivalentA relevant Diploma/ Degree in Logistics/ WarehousingAt least 5 years of experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processesStrong decision-making, problem-solving and people-management skillsPlanning and organisation skills to effectively manage the flow of stockAttention to detailRESPONSIBILITIESMaintain a service level to internal and external customers above 98%Manage and direct all warehouse operations in line with GWP (Good Warehouse Practices)Ensure inventory levels are accurate by conducting physical counts in line with business requirements and balancing them back to the ERP system, NavisionMaintain stock count variances in line with agreed targetsReduce waste and obsolete stock as a result of poor stock rotation, to below-budget guidelinesMonitor inventory levels to ensure there is sufficient stock to maintain a 99.5% service level to production and communicate risks with the procurement departmentMonitor the stock on hand to ensure it is sufficient for productionMonitor the stock of various chemicals and other consumables (PPE, diesel)Classify stock according to their status and manage accordingly (on hold/ restricted)Ensure packaging material stock levels are per the production planCheck the delivery process on Navision and return faulty stock to the supplierEnsure compliance with stock rotation principles and cold chain distributionEnsure that the equipment used is well maintained and fit for purposeManage the FBCC ordering process and ensure transport availabilityCoach, manage and develop warehouse staffEnsure that staff comply with Health and Safety rules and regulationsEnsure that the area is clean and tidy to aid operational efficiencySkillsLogisticsWarehousingSolving ProblemsConcept DevelopmentIndustriesFMCG
