Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to make a significant impact in the pharmaceutical industry?My client, a leading powerhouse in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to join their team in Johannesburg East. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of sensitive pharmaceutical products.Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring the safe handling of sensitive products.
Oversee the storage and distribution operations to maintain product integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels.
Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Implement and oversee safety protocols to protect products from contamination and damage.
Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement effective solutions.
Utilize technology and innovative practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including metrics on delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.
Analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize logistics operations.Minimum Requirements & Experience
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools.
Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
