We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warranty Clerk to join the service team in the trucking industry. This role involves managing warranty claims, maintaining records, and supporting the Workshop Manager to ensure all warranty processes are executed smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a background in the trucking industry, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.Key Responsibilities:Process and manage warranty claims according to manufacturer guidelines.Invoice and cost job cards daily to ensure accurate record-keeping.Maintain warranty parts and ensure proper documentation.Submit goodwill claims for customer repairs outside standard warranty parameters.Prepare and manage weekend and month-end reports.Track and update daily "work in progress" summaries for the service team.Communicate effectively with head office, internal departments, and external stakeholders.Occasionally provide relief for the service advisor when needed.Comply with all company service department procedures and quality standards.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Minimum Requirements:Education: Matric or higher qualification.Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a warranty clerk or similar administrative role, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry.Skills & Attributes:Strong organisational and record-keeping skillsAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with a proactive, problem-solving attitudeAbility to read and write fluently in EnglishConfident and capable of anticipating issues and needs
