Our support staff are primarily based in South Africa, employed by Block Management Solutions, with a co-working space in Stellenbosch for occasional meetings. As part of this global team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across different regions, ensuring operations run smoothly and service delivery meets high standards.
This is a dynamic role that requires

to ensure contractors complete work efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
:
Water Hygiene Maintenance Coordination
: Schedule and manage water hygiene works for the portfolio, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Contractor & Site Management
: Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring they have access, meet deadlines, and follow safety protocols.
Job Reporting & Invoicing
: Maintain accurate job reports and ensure timely invoicing. Handle follow-up actions for visits requiring additional works.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement
: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain communication on job progress, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Business Development & Contract Growth
: Assist in identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the water hygiene contracts portfolio.
Skills & Qualifications
:
Essential
:
+ Knowledge and experience in
Water Hygiene, Legionella, Coliforms, and E. coli control
.
+ Experience with
Legionella Risk Assessments
and the necessary actions to improve compliance through remedial maintenance.
+ Experience with chemical and
bacterial testing for closed hot and cold-water systems
.
+ Strong organisational and multitaskingskills to handle multiple projects at different stages.
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
+ High attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
+ Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
+ Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable

+ Previous contractor coordination experience would be beneficial but not essential. A proactive and energetic approach is more important.
