We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our Intermediate/Senior Phase team at an all boys school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English, Mathematics and Science to learners in Grades 4 through 7. A key aspect of this role involves promoting inclusion and a sense of belonging among students, particularly boys, by implementing strategies that support diversity and equity. Start date to be determinded by the Western Cape Education Department.

Minimum Requirements




Qualifications and Experience:


A recognised teaching qualification (REQV 13) or higher Expertise and no less than 5 years' experience teaching and coaching in the Intermediate / Senior Phase of a Primary School Proven experience teaching English, Mathematics and Science at the intermediate phase level Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English Demonstrated experience in promoting inclusion and belonging within a school setting, preferably in boys' education Familiarity with strategies that support diversity, equity and inclusion in educational environments Strong classroom management skills Must be computer literate and proficient on the Google platform Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE) Police Clearance and Child Protection Clearance Certificate required

Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in English, Mathematics and Science Develop and implement curricula that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities Foster a classroom environment that emphasises inclusion, respect and a sense of belonging for all boys Collaborate with colleagues to create and sustain an inclusive school culture Engage in continuous professional development focused on inclusive education practices * Communicate effectively with boys, parents and staff to support development
