:A leading financial advisory firm is seeking experienced Wealth Managers to join their national offices on a permanent basis. These positions are available across various locations in South Africa, (Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg) and accommodate financial planners with varying levels of expertise. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing financial advice to retirement fund members, developing new business, and servicing existing clients. The role requires strong financial acumen, sales proficiency, and adherence to regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development:Provide financial advice to retirement fund members who have recently joined or exited a company-sponsored retirement fund.Engage with leads generated through the company's retirement benefit counselling programme.Convert client leads into new business based on proven experience and advice capability.Manage clients segmented according to Assets Under Management (AUM):Up to R10 millionBetween R10 million and R20 millionAbove R20 millionClient Servicing:Manage and grow clients wealth by providing independent, holistic financial planning advice.Service an assigned portfolio of clients using proprietary software, Altertude.Proactively and reactively engage with clients to address financial planning needs.Retain existing clients through relationship management and strategic financial planning.Adhere to internal policies and house-view strategies in all advisory activities.Regulatory & Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to FAIS, FICA, and other relevant financial legislation.Maintain compliance with FSCA requirements and industry best practices.Uphold ethical financial advisory principles to protect clients and the company's reputation.Communication & Client Engagement:Conduct client interactions primarily in English, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills.Collaborate with internal support departments to ensure seamless service delivery.Initiate client engagement primarily via telephone, requiring a professional telephone manner.Activity & Workflow Management:Complete, validate, and sign-off on daily tasks within workflow system.Monitor and track activity progress to ensure timely client service and business development.RequirementsMinimum qualification: Regulatory Exam 5 (Representatives), with candidates currently under supervision also considered.Financial or commercial degree.FSCA Category 1 or Category 2 registered representative.Minimum intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Advanced sales, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently within a structured compliance framework.Personal AttributesClient-focused with a strong results orientation.Target-driven sales or servicing mindset, depending on the assigned role.High energy levels and a self-starter mentality.Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Professional appearance and conduct.Ability to handle pressure and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Strong ethical and client-centric approach to financial advisory.Benefits
