Job Description


The Website and Content Manager will ensure that the website operates efficiently, delivers an outstanding customer experience, and integrates seamlessly with our digital marketing channels to drive engagement, sales, and customer loyalty.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in website management, content strategy, and digital marketing.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong expertise in paid media advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, etc.) and SEO.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
  • Experience with content creation and management, including blog posts, product pages, and multimedia content.
  • Proficient in using website analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and social media analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies and A/B testing.
  • Familiarity with web development (HTML/CSS) and e-commerce integrations (payment systems, inventory tools).
  • Experience with influencer marketing, PR outreach, and link-building strategies for earned media.
  • Understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and data-driven marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(E-COMMERCE) WEBSITE MANAGEMENT & OPTIMISATION
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the (e-commerce) website, ensuring smooth functionality, up-to-date content and optimized shopping experiences.
  • Continuously improve the websites design, layout and navigation to enhance user experience (UX) and drive conversions.
  • Conduct regular audits and tests (e.g. A/B testing) to optimize the sites performance, improving load times, SEO and conversion rates.
  • Ensure the website is fully responsive, mobile-optimized and integrates with necessary back-end systems (e.g. payments gateways, inventory management)
CONTENT MANAGEMENT
  • Develop, implement and manage a robust content strategy that aligns with the brands voice and business objectives
  • Oversee content creation and updates across the website, including product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages, promotional material and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create engaging content that supports SEO efforts, product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely publishing and updates
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM)
  • Manage and optimize the companys CRM system to enhance customer engagement, retention and lifetime value
  • Create and execute personalized email marketing campaigns, automations and customer loyalty initiatives based on user data and behavior.
  • Develop targeted communications to engage customers through the website, email and other digital channels, encouraging repeat purchases and brand loyalty.
DIGITAL MARKETING & MEDIA STRATEGY (PAID/EARNED/OWNED)
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across all three pillars of media: paid, earned, owned
  • Paid Media: Manage paid media campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads, paid socials) to drive traffic, engagement and conversion on the website
  • Earned Media: Oversee public relation efforts, influencer partnerships and media outreach to generate organic visibility and backlinks.
  • Owned Media: Manage content across owned digital properties, including the website, email marketing, social media platforms and blogs; ensuring consistency in messaging and alignment with marketing goals.
ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE MONITORING
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, CRM analytics and social media insights to track, analyse and report on website traffic, customer behavior and campaign performance.
  • Monitor KPIs related to website performance, conversion rates, ROI on paid media and engagement on earned and owned channels
  • Provide regular performance reports to leadership and recommend strategies to improve performance based on data insights
COLLABORATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMWORK
  • Work closely with marketing, design and agencies to ensure alignment on key business objectives and initiatives
  • Collaborate on the creation of seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotions to maximize visibility and sales
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure cohesive content and marketing strategies across all channels
