We are seeking experienced Weighbridge Operators to join our team at our Cape Town facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately operating the weighbridge. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
Operate the weighbridge to accurately record vehicle weights for incoming and outgoing loads. Verify vehicle documentation and ensure all details are correctly logged. Issue weighbridge tickets and maintain detailed records of all transactions. Ensure compliance with legal weight limits and company safety standards. Report discrepancies, safety concerns, or irregularities to the appropriate department. Provide professional customer service to drivers, suppliers, and clients. Collaborate with operations teams to optimise vehicle flow and minimise delays Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of the weighbridge area.
Requirements
Grade 12 Previous experience as a
Weighbridge Operator
will be required. Basic understanding of weight regulations and compliance standards. Strong numerical and data entry skills.Computer literacy
, including proficiency in weighbridge software and Microsoft Office. Willingness to workshifts, weekends, and overtime
