Job Summary
:
Bottom of FormPerform welding tasks on storage tanks, ensuring all welds meet industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately fabricate and assemble storage tanks
Inspect welds for quality and integrity, addressing any defects or imperfections
Adhere to strict safety guidelines when handling equipment, materials, and working in high-pressure environments
Select and handle materials, ensuring proper preparation and storage before welding
Conduct maintenance and repairs on storage tanks and welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance
Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other welders to ensure timely and accurate completion of fabrication tasks
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, materials used, and inspections performed to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirementsSkills & Experience:
Skilled in various welding methods (TIG, MIG, Stick) with a focus on high-quality, precise welds for storage tank fabrication
Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate and assemble storage tanks according to specifications
Expertise in selecting and handling various materials, including steel and alloys, ensuring proper preparation and storage for welding
Experience in inspecting welds for integrity, identifying defects, and applying corrective actions to meet industry standards
Strong adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring safe work environments
Proficiency in operating welding equipment, cutting tools, and machinery for storage tank fabrication
Proven ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlinesMinimum requirements
Welder Trade Test
