Kalium is a marketing agency looking for a freelance WordPress developer to join their team and help them deliver high-quality, high-performing websites for their clients. Kalium works with businesses across various industries and needs someone who can bring technical expertise to our projects.

As a WordPress Developer, you'll be responsible for customizing and optimizing WordPress websites. You'll work closely with our team to assist with updating or developing functional, SEO-friendly websites that align with our client objectives.

The Role

Develop, customise, and optimise WordPress websites. Work with themes and page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.). Implement responsive and mobile-friendly designs (with assistance from our designer) Ensure websites are fast, secure, and SEO-optimized. Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and performance issues. Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to implement website changes.

The Person

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress development best practices. Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery. Strong understanding of website performance optimization (caching, speed, Core Web Vitals). Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills. An understanding of Google Search Console is beneficial although not required.
