Main Job Purpose:The Workplace Coordinator is responsible for implementing strategies to ensure effective learner workplace management, leading to high retention and improved absorption rates by host entities. This role ensures compliance with policies, practices, processes, and procedures related to learner recruitment and workplace management.Qualifications & Experience:Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalentProject Management Certificate (advantageous)Advanced knowledge of MS OfficeMinimum of 1 year experience in a learnership environmentAt least 3 years experience in workplace placementDuties & Responsibilities:Capture and file learner details from application to absorption, including tracking post-exitMaintain up-to-date host information and databasesEnsure compliant use of LMS and document management systems, including Google DriveAdhere to document, information, and learner record safety and securityEnsure adherence to quality and reporting requirementsAllocate resources and ensure learners have the tools and equipment neededEnsure host employers meet OHS requirementsConduct assessments and interviews for learner profilingTrack and manage learner placements, ensuring reputable workplaces and readiness according to rollout plansFacilitate learners'' onboarding, address HR issues, and act as a liaison between host employers and the companyAddress learner challenges and ensure reasonable accommodations for disabilitiesConduct mentoring and coaching sessions, review learner progress, and manage attendance recordsEngage with stakeholders, build networks, and promote the company in the local communityReport on learner workplace management and maintain accurate records on the LMS systemCompetencies & Skills:Strong computer literacy and excellent administrative skillsProficiency in report writing and attention to detailEthical and trustworthy with sensitive and confidential informationOrganized, professional, and good interpersonal skillsAbility to work with strict deadlines and excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to engage with various recruitment platformsCapable of analyzing and interpreting CVs to match qualifications with positions
