Job Description
Rand Water is looking for a candidate to assist with electrical installations, pumpstations and equipment within the Electrical Department and to assist with day-to-day maintenance of all electrical equipment, new installations and repair of breakdowns throughout the distribution network to an acceptable standard.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade12/equivalent/ N2 Electrical.
- +2 years experience in an electrical environment or Abet Level 4 +5 years experience in an electrical environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles.
- Ability to do electrical repairs on lights, plugs, stoves, geysers,electrical appliances, submersible pumps.
- Basic knowledge of safety.
- Drivers licence.
- Ability to do standby.
- Assist with planned maintenance repairs and breakdown repairs to electrical plant and equipment.
- Assist with routine inspections and service of plant and equipment.
- Assist with electrical installations.
- Minor Electrical Supplies.
- Safety Awareness.
- Basic knowledge of safety.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles.
- Good communication skills.
- basic literacy.
- Ability to do electrical repairs on lights, plugs, stoves, geysers,electrical appliances, submersible pumps.
- Customer Service orientation.
- Attention to details.
