Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage workshop and wash bay employees
- Assign duties, oversee tasks, and maintain work standards
- Process and manage work orders & job cards
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet quality and safety standards
- Enforce health & safety policies and keep the work environment hazard-free
- Inspect and maintain workshop equipment and machinery
- Order supplies and operate workshop machinery when required
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of workshop & wash bay
- Strong leadership & organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of trailer repairs taut liner & side tipper
- Excellent problem-solving & analytical abilities
- Effective time management & multitasking skills
- Basic computer skills & ability to handle work orders
- Qualified to operate heavy machinery
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Qualified mechanic or in the process of obtaining qualification
- 2+ years of workshop experience in transport/logistics
- 2+ years of experience working on taut liner & tipper trailers
