UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The Marketing Assistant will provide essential support in executing UD Trucks' marketing strategy, ensuring smooth coordination across internal teams, external agencies, and dealer networks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to assist with campaign execution, budget tracking, and reporting while maintaining brand consistency across all marketing initiatives.
This position is earmarked to Unemployed Youth on on a 12 month contract basis. The person applying must comply with the criteria and be registered on the Yes4Youth platform.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Internal marketing support
Assist in the execution of internal marketing initiatives to align with corporate objectives.
Support content creation for internal communications, including newsletters, presentations, and internal events.
Coordinate marketing collateral distribution across internal stakeholders and dealership networks.
Ensure alignment with global and regional brand guidelines in all marketing activities.
2. Budget support
Assist in tracking and managing the marketing budget, ensuring accurate record-keeping of expenses.
Support the processing of purchase orders, invoices, and payments in collaboration with the finance team.
Monitor and report on marketing expenditure to ensure adherence to budget allocations.
3. Agency interaction
Coordinate agency briefings and ensure alignment with UD Trucks' marketing objectives.
Support quality control by reviewing creative materials before final approval and execution.
4. Monthly reporting
Assist in preparing presentations for internal meetings and leadership reviews.
5. Campaign management supportAssist in the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all elements are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to ensure campaign materials are distributed effectively.
Track campaign performance and compile post-campaign reports to assess ROI and effectiveness.
6. Dealer support
Provide marketing assistance to UD Trucks' dealer network, ensuring alignment with corporate branding.
Support dealers in executing localized marketing initiatives, including events, digital marketing, and PR activities.
Assist in the development and distribution of marketing toolkits and promotional materials for dealer use.
Minimum qualifications and experience
Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a marketing support role, preferably in the automotive or B2B sector.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
