-POSITION INFO:Yokogawa (IA) Specialist (Information Automation & Digital Transformation), Richardsbay, Rneg + Ben + Company Housing

• Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in an Industrial Automation & Information Technology integration environment
• Computer networks, database systems, operating systems, artificial intelligence, formal languages, software design & programming, and data structures
• Ability to apply techniques to integrate, process, analyse and visualize data.
• Good understanding and experience of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Factory measurement and DCS control system experience (Yokogawa Centum VP, Exaquantum) - Advantageous
• Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills

Duties

• Planning and coordinating a new generation of operational technologies alongside existing information and administration focused IT systems
• Reconfiguring or implementing specific adjustments to optimize performance of the DCS Control System, Subsystems and Factory Operations.
• Managing data streams and converting to Dashboards.
• Generating Business Intelligence (BI) reports and KPI's.
• Developing plans and documentation that consider data integration standards, specifications, governance and security
• Work in close collaboration with the system technician towards innovative digital integration solutions.
